Installation & Usage

• Unpack unit. Save carton for off-season storage (if needed). Remove cardboard insert from the retaining cage.

• Place the air damper assembly in the retaining cage with the crossbar facing up. Align the six damper notches with the matching notches on the retaining cage.

• Place the trap on the retaining cage and twist clockwise to the lock position.

• If hanging the unit, place it approximately 3–6 feet above floor or ground for optimal catch-rate and easy access for cleaning. Unit can also be placed on the floor or ground.

• Turn power switch to “ON” position. The switch is located under the upper housing near the light bulbs.

• For best catch results, leave unit on at all times, except when cleaning or servicing.

• Catch rate activity will be higher at night. For best catch results, place unit away from other competing light sources.

• It is recommended to place the unit 20 to 40 feet away from where people will be sitting. This unit is all-weather resistant – designed for outdoor use including rainy conditions.
